About Me

My photo
ALFREDO P HERNANDEZ,
founder and administrator-editor of online bulletin board MAMBULAOANS WorldWide Buzz (MWB), belongs to the Batch ’65 of Jose Panganiban High School. He obtained an accounting degree at the University of the East –Manila in 1970 but opted to become a full time journalist and worked 16 years straight for only two dailies – the Times Journal and Japan’s biggest daily, the Yomiuri Shimbun - until he was offered a newspaper job in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in 1993, as one of the pioneering journalists of The National, the country’s biggest newspaper. Working as Executive Sub Editor, he found his second calling on his 17th year with the paper – to help a group of 200 less-fortunate children known as Tembari Children improve their lives. He got a 33-year-old son, Juan Paolo, aka rap artist Primo Leone, who lives in Vallejo, CA with his wife Andrea, young daughter Nailani and young son Llano. He also has a 12-year-old daughter, Tintin, who lives with her mom in Baguio city, Philippines. A permanent resident of Port Moresby, he is a 65-year-old bum who lives alone.
