Kagawad home robbed

Just unlucky … Rodolfo Base, aka Rading (pictured), a former kagawad in baranggay Parang, Mambulao, CamNorte, was a recent victim of robbery, that cost him at least P4,000. The culprit managed to enter the back wall window of his house along Artista Street, one night and ransacked it for valuables. His house is about surrounded by the houses of his relatives, including that of his elder brother Ben and elder sister Letty. Ben’s house is sitting right in front of Rading’s house. The suspect has remained unidentified as of posting time. Criminality in Parang has become one of the pressing concerns of the residents, especially the families of overseas workers. People have complained about the lack of honest-to-goodness effort among the baranggay officials led by re-elected chairman Winifredo Relao to stamp out the trouble-makers in the community, particularly the drug-addicts, drug pushers and the village thieves.
