Just dropping by … Once in a while, Mambulaoans who come home for a quick sojourn would like to visit a place or see someone who has figured in their lives. Not to be outdone with, so to speak, is Rodel Bang Occiano, a teacher based in the big city, and a native of San Rafael. On Thursday, he dropped by the Mambulao Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MMPC) after snatching a five-day break from work, to say hello to Elsie Dimaunahan (both pictured), the co-ops operations manager and also to see how business was doing. Elsie told him that the volume of goodies on sale has doubled since the co-op and its mini-grocery business was launched last February 8.
