THE Sanguniang Bayan of Mambulao has
recognized a Balikbayan for his contribution to the tree-planting program of
the local government.
Alberto Rito Espinosa donated an amount
equivalent to 30,000 tree-planting materials as his response to the Piso para
sa puno appeal of Mayor Ricarte “Dong” Padilla.
Espinosa was given a plaque of appreciation
for his support towards the tree-planting effort.
Barangay Pag-asa council headed by chairman Arnel
Espinosa countered Espinosa’s donation with 30,000 tree seedlings, which will
be transplanted in the next few days.
Padilla has thanked the community and the
overseas Mambulaoans for supporting the tree-planting effort of the local
government.
