THE Larap road cementing project has already reached Purok 8 at Baranggay Larap, in Mambulao, CamNorte.

Marivic Francisco, a daily motorcycle traveler between larap and the poblacion, told MWBuzz the tip of the cement road reached Purok 8 in Bgy Larap last month (July).

Purok 8, which is located past the Sparline bridge, is about 2km from the heart of Larap.

Marivic, who lives in the baranggay, said: “Marami pong nagtatrabaho ...

She said she did not know whose project the bridge was.
Marivic is doing a small business at the poblacion public market and bikes home in the afternoon.

Since last year, Padilla has been appealing to the community and to overseas Mambulaoans for support to the road building project in the form of cement bag donations.

The donations would help sustain the road building resources of the Mambulao LGU which sources most of the project funding from friendly national politicians and development agencies.

MWBuzz has failed to get a reaction from Padilla regarding the target date of the road project in larap.

However, he told MWBuzz earlier he secured funding for a total of 3.2km for road cementing project in Bgy San Pedro, which is underway.

Padilla also said the LGU is building another 400m farm-to-market road from Pinyahan, also in San Pedro, to link it to the municipal road network.

Individuals wishing to donate bags of cement for the road project may contact Alfredo P Hernandez, MWBuzz editor-in-chief, through ahernandez@thenational.com.pg  and alfredophernandez@y7mail.com, or Percy A Ostonal , MWBuzz director for marketing & advertising, through ostonal@outlook.com.
