Another day … This fisherman just arrived from an overnight fishing expedition farther off the Mambulao Bay as there is not much fish to expect around the municipality’s exclusive fishing zone. Aside from being over-fished, it is suffering from silt and mud pollution caused by indiscriminate gold mining operations in a number of areas in Mambulao's gold district. Just before hitting the bed, so to speak, this man makes sure things are alright with his fishing gear, especially the boat. Tingnan 'nyo … This is the banner of Governor Edgardo A Tallado announcing the building of a farm-to-market road at Baranggay San Rafael in Jose Panganiban, CamNorte. It could be found somewhere in an inner road at Santa Rosa Norte where the road project starts. It says people’s taxes are funding his road project, which will give the readers an idea how it is coming along, through the picture below.

Ano ‘to? … This is not the lunar surface that has been immortalized after man’s first landing on the moon on July 20, 1969. This is the surface of a farm-to-market road that Gov Tallado is still building at Baranggay San Rafael, Jose Panganiban.
