THE locally-funded road construction project at baranggays Sta. Cruz and San Pedro is in full swing, Vice-Mayor Ariel Non said recently.

In brief messages posted on Facebook addressed to Mambulaoans with access to his account, Non disclosed that the current municipal administration has already completed at least one kilometer of cemented road in the Sta Cruz-San Pedro area on the western side of Jose Panganiban and that it will proceed as programmed with a P2 million allocation.

“Mayor Dong (Ricarte Padilla) is facilitating the release of funds from the national government to get this project completed,” Ariel said.

Recently, Non and Kagawad Carlos Tabuada toured the Sta-Cruz-San Pedro road cementing project to see the progress of work done.

Pictures from the project site were also posted on Non’s Facebook account, drawing praises and commendations from his followers and supporters.

Allan Aguirre said upon seeing pictures of on-going project: Ayos and project ninyo … saludo ako sa inyo lahat go go go.

Ofelia Palero Yassin said: Maraming salamat p so so proud to have y ou two as our leaders.

Nenita Rafinan posted a longer one: Pade, muzta nice to hear and see that I wish that "Sabi nga sa wakas" magkakaroon din ng pagbabago, i'ts been so long na.

Melody Mimay Magalona posted: Nice project Manoy … keep it up … god bless ur family …

Responding to some of the praise messages, which also appealed for more projects like this, Non said that the work crews would be very busy this month building roads across the municipality.

The month of March is the start of the summer season which would allow continuous road building activities in the municipality.

“Meron din ilalatag sa may Tam-isan, while another 300m of road would be cemented along the Calero segment of the Larap road, whose funding comes from Senator Juan Ponce Enrile.
