THE Sangguniang Bayan of Mambulao, CamNorte, has
approved this year’s budget of P121.92 million.
It was passed under the council’s resolution No. 146-2014
during a regular session in Jan 6.
However, this year’s budget has yet to be approved
by the Sanguniang Panglalawigan of CamNorte.
The LGU was expecting to have it cleared by the CNSP
this month.
A big chunk of the budget pie of P10.12 million, or
8.3%, will go to the amortization of three Land Bank (Labo branch) loans
The community development fund (CDF) this year will
get the biggest slice amounting to P19.87 million as against P17.61 million in
2013.
Calamity fund received P5.7 million; barangay health
care assistance, P100,000; medical assistance to indigents, P1 million;
scholarship allocation, P525,000; sports and youth development, P350,000.
Tourism development program will get P470,000; water
service expenses, P140,000’ and electricity,P1.69 million; the Municipal
Cooperative Development Council, P235,000; and the local council for the
protection of children, P993,510.
The municipal anti-drug abuse campaign (Madac) is
getting P75.000.
