DEVISING a
strategic marketing plan or "feasibility study" remains the first
step in having business organization of any sort and normally, this requires
significant time and energy in evaluating all important aspects that will partly determine the success or
failure of such tasks.
As in the
case of Mambulaoans Worldwide Buzz News, or simply MWBuzz.
In
November of 2011 Alfredo P Hernandez, editor-in-chief and I co-founded the
FIRST ONLINE NEWS for our town and people with one single thought of
"giving back" to the community we both dearly love.
We were not
guided by any business plan whatsoever except we forged together the idea of
re-connecting ourselves to one another as one people thru our pang-malawakang ugnayang elektroniko of our town of Mambulao, or
now Jose Panganiban, regardless of our
whereabouts on this part of the world.
We're glad
we did.
From zero
readership in spring of 2011, we have grown, coming close to 6,000 page views
every month. We expect to rise in number as communication technologies and its
fast-pace acceptance in every homes and families soar.
As I recall,
on November 6, 2011 I sent this mass email as written:
“Dear Pre Fred and fellow Mambulaoans,
“The truth and reality of such "never
been done" JP or Mambulao newsletter either on e-edition or print in the
past makes Mambulaoans Worldwide Buzz
the vehicle and roving news and information to everyMambulaoan wherever they are with these current
communication technologies on hand.
“I personally salute you for this endearing
commitment and pioneering spirit and just like everyone, my thoughts and best
wishes for growth and prosperity of this wonderful community project.
“Ang inyong kaukulang pansin at pakikiisa sa
mga layuning pahatid-balita ng ating bayan at mga mamamayan ay totoong
kasigla-sigla". (Your involvement
and unified participation towards community news of our town and people were
simply nice).
May The
Almighty bless us with this endeavor.”
