GIANT signboards warning the public against throwing their rubbish along the shoreline and on the beach of Parang will be installed soon by the seashore.

At least six giant sign boards were being readied by the municipal government of Jose Panganiban.

The first one has already been erected along the breakwater in front of the public park.

The rest will be installed along the beach of Parang, which recently received a cleanup from the joint efforts of the Jose Panganiban National High School Alumni Association, baranggay units and their staff and the residents along the shore.

The indiscriminate disposal of household rubbish and those produced from various activities such as business and industry is a violation of Municipal Ordinance No. 012-2003.

The signboards are encouraging the public to keep the cleanliness along the shore, especially that of the beach in Parang, by disposing off garbage properly.

"Itapon ang basura sa tamang tapunan," the signboards say.
