Soaring to high heavens ... These sixty-five colorful balloons racing towards the sky symbolize the 65 batches of graduates from the Jose Panganiban High School who traveled across the globe in search of the proverbial greener pasture. The release of the balloons was done during the 65th general alumni homecoming held on April 28-29 on the school's campus, which was attended by more than 1,000 alumni who came from different parts of the world. Read the story below.

Great fun on the beach ... Children frolicking on the beach under a blistering sun. This beach is none other than the one found at Baranggay Pag-asa, in Jose Panganiban, which is now becoming popular to overseas Mambulaoans, thanks to Facebook and MWBuzz which both carried old pictures from the beach. The kids are children of alumni who attended their 65th general homecoming held on the campus of the Jose Panganiban High School on April 28, 2012. The tiny island seen on the horizon is known as the Carol Island, famous for its powdery white sand and crystal clear water. - MWBuzzpics by ALFREDO P HERNANDEZ
