Sta Cruz bridge work in full swing

By PERCY A OSTONAL

THE CONSTRUCTION of a new bridge in Baranggay Sta Cruz, Jose Panganiban, is in full swing.

According to the Project Management Office’s website, the P40 million project is about 15% complete, and is expected to be completed early next year.

Located in Sitio Maybato within the baranggay, the bridge is hoped to solve mobility problems during heavy rains, which would cause floods in the area.

It will benefit the residents in Sta Cruz, San Pedro, San Martin and San Jose, which usually go under water after prolonged rains.

The bridge project, which began last August, is funded by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
